Using this material, children can perform all mathematical operations in a holistic way (with and without changing). The children process the operations by walking on the circle. The outer green circle represents the units, the blue circle the tens, the red circle the hundreds and the inner green circle the thousands. It stimulates cooperative learning as 4 children can work together, each representing a place value. On top of this it stimulates coordination and the development of social competency. Made of vinyl.
